A talk on the new RSPB reserve in Sherwood Forest
This new Midlands reserve is due to open in mid 2018 - so this will tell us about the project and the future hopes for this exciting new site, from the team involved in its planning, creation, etc.
Paul has been in the travel industry for almost 40 years.
Starting out as a travel agent in Sheffield he then spent many years at some of the country’s best known tour operators, including Yugotours, Balkan Holidays, Sunquest Holidays, First Choice and Jewel in the Crown Holidays before becoming MD of The Travel Integrity Group and finally setting up The Travel Rep Ltd in 2007, working with, advising and project managing numerous travel businesses and Tour Operators both in the UK and in Europe.
Paul is a Director of The Institute of Travel & Tourism and also sits on ABTA's Membership Committee.
In 2013 Paul started his relationship with the RSPB, initially as part of the practical workforce at RSPB Dearne Valley before moving into the Visitor Centre as well as working on special projects which included last year’s Robin Hood Festival and the recent RSPB Members Weekend.
His latest role for the RSPB is as Volunteer Coordinator for both the new Sherwood Forest project as well as RSPB Dearne Valley which includes Old Moor and Adwick Wetlands.
